Create Your Own Pizza at Pieology

We don’t usually travel too far from home but recently we went to Aina Haina Shopping Center to visit a shop. As we weren’t familiar with some of the eateries in the area we decided to try Pieology’s pizza for lunch.

Pizza done your way

My first thought from far away was dessert pies. ^^; Of course that’s not the case and Pieology is a pizzeria where you can customize your pizza with unlimited meats and toppings and the option to blend cheeses. All for $10.95 each. No additional charges for plenty of topping choices. You could go crazy and put a whole bunch of toppings on it, or you could create your own specific combo. There are a lot of choices to choose from. They also have salads in the same customizable style and a friend told me they have herb butter sticks too.

Modern inside with picture-worthy pizzas

The inside is nice and modern with really great designed inspirational words with photography pieces and a clean, easy to read menu. When ordering it’s something like Subway where you can watch them put all of your choices on your pizza or salad. They give you a number, wait a bit, and when your pizza is ready they delivery it to your table. The size of the pizzas are just right for one adult or for a kid to share at 11.5″ thin crust baked nice and crispy. There are a good amount of seats inside and out with the option for take-out as well.

With the unlimited choices for toppings we went with two different pizzas. For one pizza we choose the House Red and the other Herb Butter. Both had mozzarella with one having ricotta cheese too. The first pizza had pepperoni for the meat, spinach, red onions, and artichoke for the veggies. The second pizza had all-natural bacon and Portuguese sausage for meat, mushrooms, olives, and jalapeños for veggies. We liked both pizzas as they were the perfect amount of sauce, the toppings were great and cooked, and it wasn’t too oily at all! Definitely a palace we would go back to if we were in the area!

If you’re in the Aina Haina and Kailua area, or coming soon to Pearlridge Center, we recommend going to Pieology for lunch or dinner to get your pizza pie on! Have you gone here before? What did you get?
